Returns

We strive to do everything we can to ensure there is never a need for a return. However, returns are a reality in the world of commerce. If you are not satisfied with your product we will allow you to return it without penalty for 30 days. If the item is received in good condition you will receive a full refund. To receive a full refund certain conditions must be met:

Obtain an RMA Number

If you wish to return an item you must call or email our customer service department and obtain an RMA (return merchadise authorization) number. You can send your request for an RMA by email to customerservice@lakeair.com . The other option is to call 800-558-9436 and request an RMA number by phone. Please write the RMA number on the package you are sending back.

Pack The Product Carefully

It is VERY important that you pack the product you are sending back carefully. If the product arrives at our facility damaged you WILL be liable for damage to that product.  There are several online guides to help you pack items for shipping. Here is on such guide. A few things to remember when packaging an item are

  1. Choose a box that’s slightly larger than the item you’re sending so you can cushion the item with packing material on all sides.
  2. Pack the item with bubble wrap, peanuts, foam, or paper so there’s no room for your item to move around in the package.
  3. Use boxes and tape that are rated for the weight of your item.
  4. Use fragile stickers

Insure your item

Insure the item you are sending back for the amount you paid for it. Insurance on a package being shipped will only be valid if you package it properly. If you do not package your item properly your insurance will not cover damage done by the carrier in shipping. UPS is especially hard on packages. More than 10% of items sent through UPS receive some kind of package damage. If you are unsure how to package your item use a packaging service.

Your product will be inspected within 24 hours of receipt. The refund on your item may take up to 48 hours to work through the credit card system. In most cases items received undamaged have a refund showing on the customers account within 48 hours of our receipt.
