Bluetooth Control
Bluetooth is probably the best way to connect and control your LakeAir air purification product. Bluetooth is set up independently from an internet connection, and it can be done on a cell phone or tablet. Our controllers are connected and accessed through the Smart Life App. Once Smrt Life is installed on your Bluetooth device, you will be able to pair the LakeAir Product. The instructions are easy to follow.
Within the native Bluetooth system, you can group products to control multiple products simultaneously. You can share control with other users. It is possible to set schedules and make specific action groups (scenes) where you can schedule multiple actions based on various details like time of day, day of the week, or actions triggered by other devices within the large selection of Smart Life-supported devices.
Upgradable, Expandable and future Technology
Device control modules are added in such a way that you will be able to easily change out controls as technology and control devices advance and evolve. Our design prevents the possibility that your LakeAir product will become obsolete because of new technology. The LakeAir products are attached through a simple wiring system, not a circuit board so using your air purifier will always be available without a bluetooth device.
No Internet Required
A major concern expressed by customers is that a product must be able to function fully without an internet connection. LakeAir Bluetooth-enabled products work without an internet connection. So long as your Bluetooth device is within 90-150 feet it will be controllable. If the controlling device leaves the area, your product will continue functioning as programmed.
Smart Life links to Alexa, Google Assistant and Smart Things
To take control of your LakeAir Product using Alexa, Google Assistant, and Samsung Smart Things, you need to connect to the services 3rd party connection. Users have reported varying levels of success in connecting and controlling with 3rd party apps. Be certain all of your software and apps are updated. Help making your connections and using various controls within the 3rd party apps

Lutron Module for LakeAir Products
It has been brought to our attention that using Lutron module LMJ-5T-DV-B will allow multiple LakeAir air purifiers / Smoke eaters to be controlled through the Lutron Homeworks system.
