Cigar Shops are Growing their Business with LakeAir

Surge in Cigar Shop Growth.

Over the past several weeks we have seen a surge in new cigar shop openings.  Along with a surge in new shops we are seeing many established shops upgrading their air purification equipment. According to Grand View Research  The Cigar market growth looks to be over 7%  for the time frame of 2023 to 2030. We see the surge primarily in retail shop where premium cigars are offered. The demand for luxury cigar seems to come mostly from premium cigar lovers and millenials.

Customers are seeking an elevated smoking experience at home and in lounges. To meet this demand cigar shop owners are installing high quality smoke removal equipment by companies like LakeAir. Owner Randolph Bush noted he has seen over dozen new shops demanding high performance smoke eaters in the last two months.

Shop Map is Rapidly Expanding

LakeAir maintains an interactive map of its customers who have lakeAir smoke removal  equipment  in use. Mr. Bush went on to explain that not every customer makes the map. It is however a good representation of some of the cigar shops and lounges who clean the air in their establishments with LakeAir Smoke Eaters/

Mr. Bush goes on to note that the map will be having many new shops added soon. The list of new shops to soon be included consists of shops like; Billows in Albany, Quincy’s in North Las Vegas, Grey Beards in Edenton, Jersey Smokes in Jackson, and Havana Garage in Omaha to name a few.

Many Cigar Shops are Upgrading from other Systems

At the Premium Cigar Association show in March 2024 many established cigar shops and lounges visited the LakeAir Booth to see about upgrading their current equipment. Some shop owners are switching entirely to LakeAir systems while others are augmenting their old systems with new more efficient systems currently offered by the Wisconsin manufacturer. Upgrade clients include  Old Virginia Tobacco, Smoker’s Abbey and Cigar Box.

One shop owner from New Jersey noted, “with more shops opening all the time, we need to up our game and elevate the smoking experience in our own shop. One sure way to elevate the smoking in your lounge or mancave is by providing clean air. Removing the smoke isn’t enough anymore. “You have to remove the odor” the New Jersey veteran shop owner went on to explain. LakeAir cigar air purifiers use a fast acting carbon filter that removes odors much faster than some of the long lasting odor filters on the market.
