Ceiling Mount Compact Smoke Eater
The CM2-RC2 Smoke Eater by LakeAir fits into a 2′ x 2′ ceiling grid. The RC2 models use dual reverse curved blowers from the famous German fan manufacturer Bauberg These blowers offer quiet operation with a lot of air movement. The electrostatic filters are made of high-quality materials. You can expect 20+ years of service from these filters. We use small tolerances and lower voltage to provide superior air filtration with LOW ozone emissions. In fact when you use the standard carbon filter, the ozone emission is zero. The CM2-RC2-S is a low-priced commercial smoke eater with high-end performance.
Low Noise Level?
One of the biggest complaints about ceiling mounted air purifiers is the amount of noise they produce. Much of this noise comes from the fan running at high rpms. One blower is enough to power the CM2 models, by adding a 2nd fan we have cut the needed motor speed in half. This reduces the amount of ambient noise greatly. Smaller filters were needed to work in the smaller filters. The extra blower pulls air through the smaller filters with ease.
You could turn the unit all the way up and it would be loud Only so much air can move through the filters, so run your CM2 at half speed, and save on noise and money. About half way between high and turbo should do the trick.
When you order a WiFi-capable unit, you will see the speed you are using. The range for digital dimming is 12% to 100%
External or Onboard Speed Control
The variable speed control allows you to adjust the CM2-RC2 to the desired air purification amount and sound level. Customers tell us that they don’t even hear the smoke eater running on low and medium. If you want the speed control on the unit, just let us know, and we will customize it at no extra cost.
The variable speed control can be mounted in the unit or located in a wall switch. The wiring is easy but requires a 6-conductor cable, for the rotary potentiometer included for free with all CM2 models, LakeAir offers a which is available from LakeAir. The unit uses a simple 115-volt line and neutral along with 3 low-voltage wires for speed control. Attractive Exterior Shell
The CM2 is a compact little unit that looks nice hanging by itself. If you don’t have a drop ceiling the CM2 might still be the best fit for you. We can even set this unit up with a standard plug and this allows you to move the unit around to find the best spot in your cigar bar.

Tremendous Odor Control
For a home smoke eater, the CM2-RC2-S 420 has very good pot odor control. The 2.5 inch carbon filter provides an elongated filter bed to remove more cannabis in every cleaning cycle. This makes the CM2 a great product for not only cleaning the air but also as an odor eliminator.
The CM2 can be hung in any room with a higher ceiling, especially vaulted ceilings. As a home air purifier the CM2 can be near the ceiling doing its job, keeping the air in the home clean. All, while not taking up needed space on the floor, shelfs or tables.
Standard Heavy Duty Odor Control
All CM2-RC2 units use 3 layers of carbon or cannablend to help remove odors from the air. This extra odor control does not cost more, it just does a better job.
On Board WIFI = Plug n Play
On Board WIFI makes The CM2 a Plug-in and operate unit. The CM2 only weighs about 65 pounds (weight varies between filter configurations). The CM2 has all the power of our commercial units and it small size (24″ x 24″ x 13″) makes it a great fit for the home smoking room.
The WIFI Connection requires no internet. The connection is Bluetooth first through the Smart Life App. The WIFI accessibility is linked through the Smart Life App. Smart Life can bring your CM2 into control through Google Assistant, Alexa, and Samsung’s “Smart Things”
The Native App allows setting schedules for your air purifier. We always suggest leaving the unit running for 2 hours after you finish smoking. The application control make this a breeze.
