LA2-RC1 Variable Speed Commercial Air Purifier
The LakeAir LA2-RC1 is a powerful high volume cleaning machine. The LA2-RC1 offers from 600 to 900 CFM air volume. The LakeAir Air RC1 is available in a number of filter configurations including High Capacity Media, Electrostatic, HEPA and Odor Control Carbon. The actual CFM output varies slightly by filter configuration.
These units can be stacked to provide any volume of air purifications you might need. Whether you deploy them separately or in a group they will provide you with the volume and type of filtration needed. Each unit comes with 1/4 20 nut inserts to allow a number of mounting options. This is an all steel air purifying system. We avoid plastic whenever possible. The unit weighs up to 85 pounds and is available in both black and white vinyl clad finish.

LA2-RC1 Mounting Options
The LA2-RC1 can be mounted in a number of ways. It has 4 rubber feet on the bottom for bench mounting. It can be hung from the ceiling. With the optional wall mount this unit can be placed on the perimeter of any room. The LA2-RC1 has (4) 1/4-20 weld nuts on both top and bottom to allow for cart mounting as well. This units has a 10 foot cord and will fit into your business IAQ plan easily.

Filter Types and Uses
High Capacity MERV 14 Media
The High Capacity MERV 14 Media filter (HC-14) provides a large volume of dust capacity. This 4 inch filter has over 60 square feet of synthetic dirt grabbing fibers. It is 75% efficient on particles 0.3 -1.0 microns, 85% efficient on particles 1-3 microns and 95% efficient on particle larger than 3 microns. The filter has a Galvanized steel frame, the filter dimensions are 20″ x 19.75″ x 3.75″. The Back pressure from this filter is on 0.22 WG
Typical Uses for the High Capacity MERV 14 Media filter
This filter is ideal for extra dusty applications like a woodworking shop. We have seen superior results from the fabric industry as well. When you have a high concentration of particulate the HC-14 will remove particles from the air and has an extended life due to its large dust load capacity. You shouldn’t however expect this filter to take the place of a dust collection system.
Commercial True HEPA Filter
The 6″ commercial true HEPA filter provides the best air filtration in a single pass. It will remove 99.97% of all foreign particles from the air stream. This filter has dimensions of 20″ x 16″ x 6″. The filter is enclosed in a galvanized steel frame and offer a low back pressure of 0.60 WG.
Typical Uses for the 6" Commercial True HEPA Filter
When you need that extra level of clean you should choose our Commercial True HEPA. This filter can provide clean room results. This filter would be great to remove fine dust in sensitive manufacturing areas. This filter is commonly used to remove smoke from the air stream. I will filter out just about anything as small as 0.30 microns.
Commercial Electrostatic Filter
This filter has a super high efficiency of 97%. One of its greatest strengths is the ability to be washed and reused. This filter will last many years. It is made of high grade aluminum. It is powered by a 5KV power supply. For this filter to be efficient is must be cleaned regularily.
Typical Uses for the Commercial Electrostatic Filter
The most common use for this type of filter is smoke removal. Electrostatic filters are highly effective on all types of indoor pollution. These filters can be found in every type of business, everything from welding shops to bakeries. Remember these filters must be cleaned to efficiently remove dirt particles from the air.
Activated Carbon Filter (Odor Control)
The LA2-RC1 uses either a 6 or 4 chamber activated carbon filter. Which filter is used depends on the filter in slot number 1. Typically the carbon filter is in filter slot 2. It is in both filter slot 1 and 2 in the double VOC / Odor elimination configuration.
It is possible to order this product in a number of specialized blends to improve the odor removal effectiveness. We offer Canna-blend odor remover for removing the smell of Cannabis.

Typical Uses for Carbon Activated Filters
