It is followed by a 97% efficient electrostatic filter that gives particles an active charge, which is then backed up by a True HEPA filter and finished with a massive 1800 gram (4 pound) carbon filter.

Because the particles receive an electrostatic charge, it increases the capture rate beyond the standard 99.97% efficiency.
