Replacement Media Air Filter Description
This products is the replacement media air filter for the LakeAir LAFC media air purifier . It has a MERV 15 rating and is disposable, extended surface area, thick with cotton-polyester blend media, cardboard frame. This filter is suitable for commercial and residential buildings and should be replaced seasonally. It’s Z-Line pleated filters offer improved performance for virtually every application, providing high performance with low pressure drop for energy efficiency. All Z-Line pleated filters feature fibers which do not absorb moisture and will not support microbial growth.
LakeAir MERV 15 air filters are of an extended-surface pleated-media type. The media is made of 100% synthetic fibers. The media is pleated in a tapered radial configuration. A heavy duty, recycled expanded metal reinforcement is laminated to the air-exit side of the media by a thermo-setting adhesive to maintain continuity of the radial pleats. The expanded metal is galvanized to resist rust and corrosion. The pleated cartridge is bonded to the peripheral interior of the outer frame. The Filter frame is made from a heavy-duty moisture-resistant beverage board made from recycled materials. The LakeAir replacement media air filter frame face is internally laminated to the pleated cartridge apexes. LakeAir replacement filters are classified under U.L. std. 900 and rated to withstand temperatures up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit.
